Iftar, the dinner that marks the end of the fast during Ramadan, is a moment of sharing like no other: families gather around the table and the city fills with large tents where people dine with friends and relatives. At such a time, those who are victims of domestic violence feel even more alone. To raise awareness about their situation, we created disruptive installations: Iftar tents for just one person. A place to experience the loneliness of those who feel abandoned by everyone.
The campaign, created for Meraas, was carried out in iconic locations in Dubai such as JBR and City Walk, reaching a large number of people and generating media buzz that enabled a successful fundraising for the DFWAC association.
